The Debutantes and Cavaliers will perform a choreographed Viennese waltz as part of the opening ceremony of the Ball. The Debutante dance is a traditional highlight of the Viennese Ball.

Your ball ticket and gala dinner are sponsored by the Austrian Society of Montréal at no extra cost to you.

Requirements

You may sign up as a couple or on your own (you will be matched with a dance partner).

Age

between 16 and 25 years old

Cost

$195 per person for program participation to cover the cost of clothing rental
- ball gown (owned by the Austrian Society of Montréal) and tiara (loaned by the City of Vienna) or
- tailcoats, pants, and shoes

Time commitment

Attendance at the dance lessons is mandatory, one evening per week from September to November
